Beer Pairings

At the foodservice conference I was at this week, one of the events was a "beer pairing" where an announcer talked about the kinds of foods that go best with certain kinds of beers. Of course it was all about that sponsor's product, but what was funny was how he would say how good a certain beer went with pizza or hot dogs--and people would clap in agreement. Who knew beer went so well with hot dogs? A revelation!
