La-la Land 2007

I just came back from Los Angeles where my fabulous L.A. cousin Celia got married. She chose Union Station for the site of the nuptuals--which was a beautiful deco-mission-style site. During the day, Bob and I stole away to see the Disney Music Center and the main Catholic cathedral downtown (where we had our only celebrity sighting--Gregory Peck!). I spent the days following the wedding with family and friends, mostly with my mom, brothers, aunt and my brother Glenn's family--Marissa his wife, Adrian his 4-year-old and Eliana who is one-and-a-half. We went to Disneyland and the adjacent California Adventures. I'll also throw in a shot of a Filipino delicacy, balut, which is an egg with a real developing chick inside. Us crazy Filipinos. But I got to tell you, California Adventures was great--Aladdin is done up Broadway style like Lion King and the Bug's Life show is 3-D animation and robotics at its finest. You have to go. Anyway, lots of fun on my most recent vacation.
