Urinetown, the Plugger

The sound you hear is me plunking away at my keyboard at home trying to get caught up in learning Urinetown, the Musical. We're four weeks into rehearsal and I'm still struggling with the words and music. One of our cast members is a graphic artist and created this cool plugger. And if my name isn't unusual enough, at least it gets me to the top of the cast list!

Snow Bunny

This is the bunny I put outside my front door. It's Easter weekend and Mother Nature decided to drop a few inches of snow in Chicago. But it's warming up and we know that spring is around the corner ...

My Many Moods

As you can see, I get very animated as a presenter. These pictures came in of me when I was assisting in the presentation for my convenience-store media company eariler this month in Las Vegas.

La Cage in Munster, Ind.

Just saw my friend Chip and several other actors I've been in shows with in a production of La Cage in Munster, Ind. It's always wonderful to see people you've worked with doing more things on stage. Makes you feel like you're part of that gypsy community. I hadn't seen or talked with some of them for over two years, but we remember each other and can connect even though so much time has passed.

When My Baby Smiles at Me ...

Maybe you missed me, but I spent the last few days at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas for a convention for prepaid products. As you recall, I write for a convenience-store magazine and was sent to cover the Prepaid Card Expo. I captured the opening-session musical extravaganza. Very Vegas!

I Hope I Remember

Our second run of Nunsense is already over. We had a fabulous house last night...lots of folks who just ate everything up. Before the show I got footage of myself singing part of my big song as Sister Mary Amnesia. It'll be a great memory.

But wait! We're still trying to secure Saugatuck and L.A. So hold your hats! (Or habits!)
