Angel Does Dallas

Last week I was in Dallas for a conference and one of the things they arranged for us was a visit to the Dallas Cowboys' Stadium, where we saw the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders rehearsing. They were on the field where we also marveled at the five-story jumbo Jumbotron that spanned two-thirds of the football field. And as if all that weren't spectacular enough, they took us to a luxury box suite and through the locker room where I got a photo holding Tony Romo's jersey! What fun!

ifCON in Houston 2011

I had the best time over the Labor Day holiday with the annual Asians and Friends conference (ifCON 2011) this time in Houston. In addition to the laughs during the final dinner and pageant (with our host Bob in drag singing "They Don't Eat Dog in Old Taiwan" with his partner dressed up as Scooby Doo), we visited Houston's huge Chinatown (with a Vietnamese buffet, yum!), a Buddhist temple and of course, Nasa. Great time had by all!
