'Let's Make A Deal!' Lunch!

Co-workers and I celebrated the fact that another editor and I got into the studio audience of a taping of CBS' new "Let's Make a Deal." Here's a link to the episode. You can see me when a guy dressed as a mustard container gets offered a computer. I'm wearing a big, cartoon "apple" on my head. My co-worker Linda can be seen when a lady in a cowgirl hat picks a box set in the aisle. She's disguised as a hippie.

The Smash-hit the Jen and Joe Show!

Our School Street fundraiser was a smash last night! Jen and Joe were a fabulous singing duet and picked the quirkiest songs. The performance was energetic and high-lariously funny. It was a packed house too! Loverly.

Coming Back From Phoenix

Going from 40-degree weather to 80 was just the tip of the fun in going to Phoenix for a conference. Yes, there was work to do and seminars to write up for our online newsletter and magazine, but the folks were jovial (it was a health and wellness focus that had "spa" treatments) and the resort was a relaxing American Indian themed place. Here's pictures of my colleagues at yesterday's luncheon. Fun times.

Jon and Kate Kiss and Make Up

I could not have had a better Halloween weekend. Our Jon and Kate Plus Eight entry in the Halsted Street Halloween Parade here in Chicago was so cool and went over so well. We had a fanatastic Asians and Friends Dim Sum--even after a night of partying--and my bestest friend from London Randy visited this weekend. Too many good times.
